In some spooky, yet humorous Naples Gulf Access Halloween news, you may start believing in ghosts. In a recent survey of 1,000 people across the United States, conducted by Toluna Research, many homeowners admit they have experienced potentially supernatural experiences inside their home.
The following statistics from the survey may compel you to check under the bed and in the closets before you go to sleep. Shockingly, 43% of the respondents surveyed stated they may have had a roommate at one point who is a ghost. Even further, 1 out of 5 of the respondents surveyed admitted they may have lived in a haunted house.
Causes for homeowners’ beliefs that the house is haunted include strange noises, shadows, items moved on their own, feeling a touch, or hot and cold spots inside the home. Notwithstanding these spooky concerns, 21% of respondents said they would remain in the possibly haunted house. Another 21% said they would consider remaining. Perhaps the smartest and most risk averse of the 54% homeowner respondents surveyed said they would never remain in their house if it were haunted.
One thing to rest easy about is that none of the 1,000 respondents surveyed are Naples Gulf Access homeowners. It’s probably too warm and beautiful, not to mention new, in Naples, Florida. Ghosts prefer old houses up North.
